The children's mid-morning snack consists of homemade brown bread and brown/fruit scones that are freshly baked every day. The children also choose from a selection of fresh fruit. Lunch choices are freshly prepared and served immediately. The selection of salads for lunch are also freshly prepared every day and consist of the usual favourites as well as daily specials e.g. potato salad; tuna; coleslaw; roasted peppers with garlic; tomato & feta cheese; pasta with pesto/cheese; beetroot; corn; egg mayonnaise etc.
Vegetables grown in the school garden by our Garden Club are proudly presented to Chef Colin to be included in lunch preparation. The children always particularly enjoy eating their own grown produce.
