Our Library
The Library is very much an integral part of the children's weekly routine at Aravon with the children visiting the library two days a week. The enthusiasm and enjoyment displayed by the children is fantastic. They love the freedom of being able to choose a book to read 'just for fun' or on a particular topic.
Throughout the year we have special themed book displays and author visits. The children are encouraged to review their books and can upload their comments onto the library computer for all to read.
Parents are asked to contribute books whenever they can. An updated wish list is posted on the notice board and in the parent's area of this website.
The library has it's own captain who is responsible for ensuring that books are returned on time and helps with writing reviews, channelling suggestions and requests for books from the pupils to the library staff.
