Aravon Academics
Junior & Senior Infants
In Junior and Senior Infants the children are gently led towards literacy and numeracy while revelling in the many exciting opportunities that such a wonderful environment offers them.

The Personal Health and Social Education Program plays a major part in the curriculum at Aravon and prepares the children for the many challenges around them.
Once again the emphasis is on each child working at his or her own pace on subjects that are varied and interesting and on developing the fully rounded individual that will move confidently to the next stage at Aravon School.
As exercise is such an important aspect of a child’s early development, physical education (P.E.) is an essential part of life at Aravon and is well catered for on our substantial AstroTurf and grass playing pitches.
A program involving the exploration of space and movement is combined with a variety of simple ball games which will eventually lead the children towards team games and competitive sport.
With up to four years in the Montessori and Pre-Prep departments the children are more than ready for the move into the main school and the many new and exciting experiences that await them there.
